  Heating jacket
Great protection for the mechanical seal in cases where there is a risk for solidification of the product. The heating jacket is also used when the pumped product has to maintain a specific temperature, high or low. A heating or cooling medium is continuously circulated in the jacket. Chocolate glaze, paraffin, starch, glucose syrup, margarine and eatable oil are some application examples.                                                                                                                Hygienic shroud
The hygienic motor shroud in polished AISI 316L protects the motor from spraying water.

Casing drainage
By positioning the outlet horizontal at the bottom, the pump features a hygienic and automatic draining.

Long coupled excecution
The perfect solution when pumping hot products like eatable oil. Complete pump unit mounted on baseplate, with coupling and guard.

Non-metallic pumps
The wetted components are non-metallic injection moulded thermoplastics enabling excellent corrosion resistance.
The version in PP-GF (glass fibre reinforced polypropylene) provides great mechanical strength and allows liquid temperatures up to 70°C.
The PVDF (PolyVinylidine DiFluoride) version has the superior chemical resistance and allows temperatures up to 80°C.

The reliable design without shaft
The impeller magnet assembly is designed with very powerful bushings where a conventional crack sensitive shaft is not needed. This results in a pump that has fewer parts and is very reliable in service.
Excellent performance with magnet cage system
Our magnets in NdFeB (Neodymium-iron-boron) with our patent pending magnet cage system have a superior strength also under demanding circumstances. The power from the drive is transmitted even at high temperatures and with high specific gravity liquids.

CTM pumps are used in most industries where liquids are pumped. The pumps handle many types of low and normal viscous clean liquids such as chemical aggressive and toxic.

How they work
The power from the motor is transmitted to the centrifugal impeller by means of a magnetic coupling. A so called isolation shell between the drive magnet and the impeller magnet separate the liquid side from the drive.
Working principle
1) Drive magnet, connected to the motor
2) Isolation shell (rear housing) separating the liquid side from the atmosphere
3) Impeller magnet assembly, driven by the drive magnet

Tapflo Vertical Pumps

Sidbilder ctv-pp-pvdf
CTV
is a single stage vertical centrifugal pump that is simple but very reliable in duty. The pump is specialized for transfer and circulation of various liquids from containers, sumps and tanks.
How they work
CTV is installed vertically with the motor above the liquid surface. In this way the pump does not need any mechanical seal that usually is a source for leakage problems. Further on the pump is designed to be dry running safe.
The simple design without bearings or mechanical seals grants for a pump that is usually maintenance free. CTV is also insensitive of solids, up to ?? mm are allowed (depending of pump size).
In many installations the CTV pump replaces a self priming pump. The pump head of the CTV is submersed in the liquid. The pump operates more reliable compared with a self priming pump. The submersion depth is 419-425 mm (depending on model) but may also be equipped with a suction extension.
Materials
CTV is manufactured from PP (polypropylene), PVDF or stainless steel AISI 316L.
Sidbilder ctv-stainlessPP
PP (polypropylene) is suitable for most type of chemicals at temperatures up to 70°C. Ideal for pickling baths and acid degrease solutions etc.

PVDF
PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) has superior chemical and mechanical features. Ideal with hot acids up to 100°C, for example hot hydrofluoric acid.

Stainless steel pumps
The stainless steel version is ideal at higher temperatures, up to 100°C and in special applications like hot sodium hydroxide.

All wetted metal components are made from  corrosion resistant stainless steel AISI 316L.

For special applications like handling of chromium nickel, electro polished models are available.

Powder pump series - trouble free transfer of light process powders

A complete air induction system is included with all powder pumps:
1) Process powder
2) Valve ball
3) Diaphragm
4) Non return valve
5) Needle valve
6) Air induction line

The Tapflo powder transfer diaphragm pump is an economical and compact solution. It can do the same job as many complex and large powder systems. The compact design also makes the unit portable.
The powder transfer pumps are modified from the standard PTFE coated aluminium series. The PTFE coating enables an efficient transfer through the pump, with least possible resistance.
What kind of powders?
The powder transfer pump will handle different types of process powders, with specific weight from 80 up to 720 kg/m3 dry weight.
Generally, if the powder does not clump together when you squeeze it in your hand, the Tapflo powder transfer pump can be used successfully. A few examples of common powders are sintering powder, carbon black, resins and silicones.

Capacity
The capacity of the powder transfer is extremely different from one powder to another, depending on the consistency and weight etc.
Fore more specific information about the capacity in your application, please contact your local Tapflo distributor or fill out our inquiry form here.

How it works
The powder transfer pump is based on a standard Tapflo air operated diaphragm pump. The powder is transferred by means of two diaphragms, which alternately prime the powder from the container in the first cycle and discharge to the process in the second cycle.
The powder is transferred in a hermetic system from the powder container to your process.

No start up problems
The air induction system eliminates powder pack up problems when starting the pump. Air is induced to the powder side of the pump for diffusion of the powder. The induction flow can manually be adjusted by means of a needle valve to obtain a optimum performance.
Safe in EX-zones
The powder transfer pumps are ATEX marked, allowing use in explosion hazardous zones (group IIG/IID, category 2).
